I live in Dunedin, with my husband and our 2 amazing kids. I’m a hippie at heart with a love of nature, nutritious food, aromatherapy and of all things holistic. I am a qualified HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Postpartum Doula, and Beauty & Massage Therapist.
I am a huge advocate of pregnant & new mothers being supported and having the all resources they need, as they navigate one of the biggest and most important transitions of their lives.
I believe your birth experience is one that you will remember forever, whether you are choosing to have an un-medicated home birth or a planned cesarean-birth, the techniques you learn in HypnoBirthing will help assist you in remaining calm and staying in-tune with your body.
After going through my own two radically different postpartum experiences, I realised it really does “take a village” and how nutritious meals, a warm environment and gentle encouragement can do wonders for your postpartum recovery and self-esteem. In many cultures, there is a 40 day postpartum period for rest, recovery and nourishment. This “sacred window” honours the profound changes that are happening in a woman’s body after giving birth, physically, mentally and emotionally. My role is to make sure you are feeling supported, nourished, and confident in finding your own unique parenting style.
My wish is for every mother to feel loved, NoURISHED and supported THROUGHOUT PREGNANCY, birth and postpartum, so she CAN embrace motherhood with joy & confidence
